Grief is a universal human experience, and one of the most difficult processes to go through alone. Judaism offers us a number of compassionate, communally held ways to heal and grow within grief, that resonate however you relate to Jewish practice. In this four-week, closed program, participants will connect with other grievers to build community and develop tools of healing, comfort and connection through memory. We will ground our time together in accessible Jewish wisdom and ritual, as well as professional support from a JFS therapist. Together we will identify the gifts, supports, and strengths that have held us through our grief, and create opportunities to come into new relationship with ourselves, our grief, and each other. This group will be guided by Rabbi Laura Rumpf (she/her), Director of Project Kavod/Dignity and Rebecca Coates-Finke (she/her), LMHCA, P-RDT, Teen and Young Adult Mental Health Counselor.
