We are currently seeking a Russian Language Information and Assistance Specialist to join our Older Adult Services (OAS) team. The Information & Assistance Specialist is responsible for engaging in outreach to immigrant older adults and people with disabilities and providing information and assistance via telephone as well as in the agency’s offices, clients’ homes, and occasionally other community settings. The I&A Specialist also screens all prospective Russian speaking clients for OAS services. We are currently seeking a Elder Connections Program Coordinator to develop, implement, evaluate, and manage all aspects of the Elder Connections program. The Elder Connections Program is a volunteer visiting program designed to reduce loneliness and isolation in community-dwelling Jewish older adults. It is housed in the Older Adult Services Department (OAS) and works collaboratively with the JFS Community Connections Department (JFSCC). This exciting pilot position provides general program oversight and direct services for prospective and enrolled older adult clients and community volunteers – it combines both programmatic ownership and a small case load for someone interested in a mixed role with a variety of responsibilities. This position reports to the Co-Director of Older Adult Services, Geriatric Care Management. The role is full time at 37.5 hours a week, but the team is flexible to accommodate someone who is interested in lower hours (to 30 hours a week).

Jewish Family Service is seeking a Refugee Services Case Manager in the Refugee & Immigrant Services program. This full-time (37.5 hours/week) position provides case management services to refugee and immigrant clients in the agency’s resettlement and employment programs. The position will also provide backup reception coverage at the Refugee & Immigrant Services Office, as necessary.
This dynamic role will ensure service quality and contract compliance by alternating between programs to provide additional staffing support where most needed. The position is client-facing and requires the ability to work across teams and efficiently pivot between services and priorities. The employee will be expected to hold their own client caseload in addition to helping with the caseloads of their teammates. The position requires a high degree of flexibility and comfort with continually shifting priorities and tasks.
The position is based at the JFS’ Kent office but will have responsibilities throughout King County. Travel will be required to meetings in the community, social service facilities, and client homes. Regular and punctual attendance is required.
